Chief Carnahan was the last Volunteer Fire Chief for the City of Tillamook. He served the City of Tillamook and the Tillamook Rural Fire Protection District for more than 55 years from 1926-1981. Chief Carnahan worked for the US Postal Service and was the Secretary for the Tillamook Rural Fire Protection District for numerous years.
